Emma earned her BFA in Theater Arts from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. After graduating in 2013, she spent the next seven years working as a professional actress, playwright, teaching artist, and front of house for many local theaters, including the Living Room Theater, Coterie Theater, and Unicorn Theater.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Emma made a shift from working as a Standardized Patient for Kansas University School of Medicine to working as a full-time Standardized Patient Coordinator.
She was last seen on stage in Will Brumley’s “The Clinic.”This staged reading doubled as a fundraiser for the Kansas Abortion Fund and was produced in response to the U.S Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade in 2022.
